Introduction<\/h3>\n

This project's goal was to illuminate a housing estate located in a remote area of The Patagonia<\/a><\/span>, where access to the electricity grid is extremely complicated and expensive. To solve this challenge, Staria used the Luxia 170, a luminaire that not only reduces installation costs, but also ensures a sustainable energy supply in such a demanding environment.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Project's Goals<\/h3>\n

The main goal of this project was to illuminate a housing estate in Argentina in an economical and reliable way. Thus improving the daily life of the inhabitants of the urbanisation and their quality of life.<\/span><\/p>\n

A solution that could withstand the extremely low temperatures (down to -20\u00b0C) and frequent snowfalls that characterise the region was required. The lighting had to be reliable, guaranteeing autonomy during the long winters, where sunlight is scarce.<\/span><\/p>\n

Used Technology<\/h3>\n

For this project,\u00a0Luxia 170<\/a>was used, a solution specifically designed to withstand extreme conditions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This solar street light was equipped with a larger than usual battery to ensure optimal performance even on the snowiest days or during long winter nights. The Luxia 170 not only stands out for its durability, but also for its ability to adapt to the geographical characteristics of the area.<\/p>\n

Staria works tailor-made for each project. As always, we carry out an exhaustive study of the solar irradiation in the Argentinean region and the lighting needs of the urbanisation, adjusting the power and capacity of the streetlights to guarantee their autonomy throughout the year.<\/p>\n

The advantages of this project for the local community are immense. Firstly, the development now has a reliable lighting system that improves the safety and well-being of residents. The installation of the solar streetlights has made it possible to illuminate streets and communal areas that previously remained in darkness for long periods of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, by not relying on the electricity grid, recurring energy costs were eliminated, representing significant savings in the long term.
